Single-sided, double-sided, 4-layer, 6-layer, and metal core boards are widely used. FR4 is used in main control boards, power supply boards, display driver boards, audio processing boards, remote control receiver boards, connector boards and tuner boards. Metal core boards are more commonly used for backlight control boards.
